Is the data unlimited in Réunion?
Yes. All current Burj plans come with unlimited data. Plans differ by destination and validity period, which is shown on each plan before you buy. Speeds depend on the local network where you are.
When should I install my Réunion eSIM?
Install it on Wi-Fi before you travel, from the Burj app or by scanning the QR code on your order page. When you arrive, turn on the Burj line for mobile data and turn on data roaming for it.
Do I get a phone number with my eSIM?
No. Burj eSIMs are data only. Your regular SIM and number stay on your phone, so you can keep receiving calls and SMS on it.
Does my phone support eSIM?
Not every phone does, so check before you buy. Your phone also needs to be carrier-unlocked to use another provider's eSIM.
- iPhone: Settings → General → About. If you see an EID number, eSIM is supported.
- Android: Settings → About phone and look for EID, or dial *#06#.
In 2 minutes, Burj app is ready for take-off.
